CF Care Team

Get to know the Physicians and CF Care Team members you see in clinic and around the hospital. The multi-disciplinary approach to CF care means patients & families spend a lot of time with healthcare providers from various disciplines. Take some time to read the CF Care Team member bios so you feel comfortable with and connected to the team!

How many years have you worked with CF patients?
1 year

What brought you to the field of CF?
I had applied for a different dietician job with Atrium Health, however in discussing my interests in connecting with patients and having long term follow up, as well as a research component, we discovered the CF dietitian role would be the best fit for me.

Where did you grow up?
The rural town of Swansea, South Carolina

Where did you receive your education?
Bachelor of Science in Food Science with a concentration in Human Nutrition from Clemson University.
Completed Dietetic Internship at Meredith College.
Currently working on obtaining Master's in Public Health with a concentration in Nutrition from University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.

What is your favorite Food/Snack?
I'm a foodie, so this question is hard! My favorite go-to's are tacos and ice cream.

What is your favorite Drink?
Coffee with cream

What is your favorite Sports Team?
Lemon Tigers, New Orleans Saints, and Washington Nationals

Fun Fact(s):
I recently learned to crochet. I have 2 cats and 1 dog that are all black and white (we have a strict tuxedo policy in our house!)
